Community groups need votes for cash
FOUR community groups in Grays have been shortlisted for a grant.
The 2014 Lloyds Bank Community Fund poll opened last week, with residents invited to vote for their favourite group.
The four groups which have been shortlisted for Grays are: Karis May Darling Foundation, East Thurrock Community Association Orsett Church of England Primary School and Thurrock's Next Top Boss.
Groups are in line for grants of between £500 and £3,000.
Public voting is open until October 10 at Lloyds Bank branches, online, by text message and, for the first time, via Twitter.
