A MAN has suffered a serious internal injury after being stabbed in Grays yesterday.

Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a man, aged 19, was pushed to the ground and stabbed in the side with an unknown implement in Conway Gardens at about 4pm.

The man suffered a serious injury and was taken to a London hospital where his condition was described as stable.

Detectives want to hear from any witnesses or anyone with information about the victim’s movements at Grays Beach, shortly before the incident.

There is no description of the attacker but the victim is white, 6ft 1in and of slim build. He was wearing khaki-coloured combat shorts, a black T-shirt a blue Adidas jacket and red Nike trainers.
