POLICE are appealing for information following an armed robbery at a post office in Purfleet.
Two men entered the post office in Garrison Parade just before noon on Tuesday, September 30, armed with a hammer and demanded money.
A sum of money was stolen during the robbery and the post master received minor injuries.
The suspects arrived at the location on a moped and wore helmets - one was black and the other silver.
A moped and a hammer have been recovered however the suspects are outstanding.
One of the men is believed to be black and the other white.
