SNOW White and the Seven Dwarfs is this year’s spectacular pantomime at the Thameside Theatre, in Grays, running from Friday, December 5, to Sunday, January 4.
As always, the show, which features Jeff Brazier and Michelle Pentecost, promises to include colourful scenery, dazzling costumes and amazing special effects.
This year, Polka Dot Pantomimes, in association with the Thameside Theatre, is launching an art competition for panto enthusiasts aged 11 and under.
The winning entry will be used as the front cover of the official show programme.
The winner will also receive a family ticket for four people to a show of their choice and an invitation to have lunch with the cast.
All competition entries will be displayed in a special Christmas grotto, so everyone who has taken part will be able to see them.
Local youngsters are being challenged to use their best artistic talents to create bright and colourful pictures, using the story of SnowWhite as the central theme.
Entries will be judged by Prince Charming.
To enter, send your finished entry, with your name, address, telephone number and age written clearly on the back, to Pantomime Art Competition, Thameside Theatre, Orsett Road, Grays, Essex RM17 5DX.
The closing date for entries is Friday, November 14.
All entries must be on A4 paper/card only and in portrait format.
