Relive soul of the Goldmine
THE memories of a famous Essex nightclub are set to be brought alive in Orsett next Friday, November 21.
From 1973, the Goldmine on Canvey was known for its jazz, funk and soul music. The club was demolished in 1989, but fans are invited to relive the atmosphere at the Orsett Hall with the launch of a new jazz, funk and soul club night.
There will be special guests, soul DJs and a live soul PA between 7.30pm and 2am. There will be a jazz lounge and the event is strictly for the over-30s.
Tickets are £15 each and available from the events team.
