MEMBERS of Thurrock Council’s adoption team will be on hand to talk with prospective adoptive families next week.
People who are thinking about adoption can pop along to the Thurrock Adult Community College in Richmond Road, Grays anytime between 6pm and 8pm on Tuesday, February 3.
The adoption staff will be there to offer advice about such things as how to start the process, training, and the support available as well as to answer any questions people may have.
The council is looking for more people to consider adoption, especially for sibling groups, older children - four or over - or those with additional needs.
If you cannot attend the event, but would like more information go to www.thurrock.gov.uk/adoption or call 0800 652 1256.
