A WEAR Red day at Tudor Court Primary School, has scooped a prize from the Royal British Legion for the amount it raised towards the 2014 Poppy Appeal.
The school beat other Grays junior schools with its poppy contribution of £1,029 towards the appeal. More than £700 was raised by the Wear Red day.
Headteacher Vivienne Northall, and some of the pupils who raised the money, were presented with the shield marking their achievement by Joyce Scott, of the Grays branch of the Royal British Legion.
