THE Fake Festival is coming to Thurrock again, following the success of its first appearance in 2014.

Headline tributes this year, include those to the Killers, Kasabian and the Stone Roses.

Organisers say tickets have already been selling fast for the one-day marquee event, which is the UK’s only touring tribute festival.

Festival organisers have scoured the length and breadth of Thurrock to find the best local support acts, including X Factor starlet Lydia Lucy.

This year, tribute bands from Thurrock fought hard among hundreds of applicants to earn their place on the stage.

The winning bands are Stardog Champions, Dasgas, Filthy Gorgeous and the Earnshaws.

Lydia Lucy is a celebrity in her own right, having made it through to one of the final seven contestants on the X Factor.

The singer, dancer and actress attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School, and had Nicole Scherzinger as her mentor whilst on the X Factor.

The all-day festival starts at 12.30pm at Blackshots Playing Fields and will finish at 11.30pm.

Tickets for the show cost £16.50 for adults, £9 for young people aged ten to 17, while children go free.

A family ticket for two adults and two children is £42.
