Walk on the wild side – enjoying the country park
FRIENDS of Langdon Hills are setting up a series of Wild Walks.
The Friends – originally set up to help the park rangers – are inviting the public to join walks and work parties around Langdon Hills Country Park.
A spokesman said: “No rangerled public activities are going to be offered at the park in future after cutbacks, so we are now offering some topical walks to share with people the wonders of this haven.”
Sunday volunteer work parties for the Friends will also take place fortnightly, meeting at Westley Heights, at 10am.
