ONE side of Hogg Lane will reopen on Saturday morning after high temperatures delayed plans to open the road today.
Road resurfacing has been completed on the east side of Hogg Lane. It was originally planned to open this afternoon but due to high temperatures the road material wasn’t able to set in time.
The surface needs to harden before vehicles are allowed on this part of the road. It comes after a three-meter sink hole appeared in the road in June. It’s be closed since.
Temporary traffic signals will therefore be put into place tomorrow morning and one side of the road will be opened at approximately 8am.
