TRAGIC Bradley Arthur’s baby son Archie will join his dad’s heroes to take the first kick in a charity match to honour his dad’s memory.

The Tottenham Hotspur Legends team will play in memory of Brad, who died, aged 24, on New Year’s Day.

Friends and family of the Chafford Hundred father organised the match on Sunday, September 13, at the Thurrock Football Ground to raise funds for Archie.

Former Spurs professionals will take on 11 of Bradley’s closest pals, including his brother Mitch as captain and cousins Adam and Scott Arthur.

Archie, aged ten months, will also join in the first kick.

Mitch, 20, who also lives in Chafford Hundred, said: “I’m really looking forward to playing against the Legends and, of course, making sure we beat them for Brad.

“We all want to do everything we can to raise money for Archie to provide him with the future that Brad would have given him.

“And, of course, we want to do everything we can in memory of Bradley so he’s never forgotten.”

Bradley went missing last New Year’s Eve after a night out with friends at Orsett Hall and was found a short distance from a friend’s home.

A massive community manhunt involving hundreds was organised to find the much-loved young man and hundreds also attended his funeral.

The fundraising match will feature a team of former Spurs players put together by the Premier League club.

Tottenham, which Brad supported, have already paid tribute to the tragic fan with a minute’s applause during a game at Crystal Palace in January.

Bradley’s close friend, Cassie Taiani, 24, of Drake Road, who is organising the match, said: “We all still miss him so much, but I think Bradley would like it all being organised for friends and family – and what’s more Archie’s doing the first kick!” All proceeds from the 3,500 tickets on September 13, which are £6 for adults and £3 for children, will go towards the Bradley Arthur fund.
