Star Wars is coming to Grays Library this weekend - with a dress-up screening of 'the Empire Strikes Back'.

The library is being 'taken over' by Yoda and Darth Vader, and people are being encouraged to dress up as their favourite Star Wars heroes.

'Empire Strikes Back' will be screened in the library for free at 10am, and children and grown-ups alike are also invited for other activities, as well as to borrow the library's Star Wars books.

A spokesman for Thurrock Council said: "Bring your light sabres and Yoda ears and head over to take part in an inter-galactic scavenger hunt and word craft activities."

The event is being held to 'prepare' for the next film hitting the cinemas soon.
