A Chafford Hundred man is one of seven arrested and charged with supplying cocaine.
Richard Mason, 37, unemployed, of John William Close, Chafford Hundred was charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
He is one of six men and a woman who have been arrested and charged with conspiracy to supply cocaine.
The suspects were charged following an ongoing investigation into the supply of class A drugs being carried out by the Kent and Essex Serious and Organised Crime Unit.
Mason and the other six are due to appear at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on June 2.
The full list of those charged is: Jake Duhig, 27, a scaffolder, of Adey Close, Southampton; Natasha Hill, 24, of Adey Close, Southampton; Terry Durant, 49, unemployed, of Melstock Avenue, Upminster; Kristopher Huckle, 37,, unemployed, of Parsloes Avenue, Dagenham; David Newton, 31, unemployed, of Calamint Road, Witham; and Mark Lee, 37, a car breaker, of Oxford Avenue, Hornchurch.
