FUN, free workshops are available for children this half term thanks to Pets at Home in Thurrock.

The Spring Spotters workshops, which will be held at Lakeside in Weston Avenue, will run from May 28 – June 5.

Children can learn to grow plants, make fun wildlife masks and learn to attract garden visitors like wild birds and butterflies.

Store manager, Suzanne Simpson, said: “With longer days and warmer weather, there will be much more wildlife activity in our parks and gardens over the next few months.

“Our free workshop is a chance for the pet lovers of Thurrock to engage with our colleagues who will be able to offer tips and advice on how to spot and look after local wildlife, whilst making the workshop fun and interactive.”

After completing the workshops, each child will receive a Spring Spotters poster and stickers, along with everything they need to grow, spot and encourage wildlife into their own gardens at home.
