FOUR teenage boys have been arrested after a 20-year-old man was stabbed in Tilbury. 

Police were called with reports a victim had been stabbed in the arm, in Calcutta Road yesterday (Thursday, June 23) at around 9.20am.

He was rushed to hospital via ambulance, where his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

Intitally police were hunting three men, described as black, aged 18 and wearing black jackets and tracksuits, who had fled the scene.

Now, four teenage boys have been arrested on suspicion of GBH.

A spokesman for Essex police said those arrested include a 16-year-old from East London, 16-year-old from Tilbury, a 17-year-old from Ilford and another 17-year-old from Purfleet.

They are all still in custody this morning.
