EXPERIENCED drivers are likely to fail modern day tests despite spending decades on the roads, an insurer has claimed.
The failure of even the most experienced motorists to pass theory tests has led to a call from ingenie, an insurer for young drivers, for skills classes to be taught to 15-year-olds.
In a social experiment, Tracey, aged 45, and Lester, aged 51, both fail their theory and hazard perception quite spectacularly.
The hazard perception test, with just a 58% score needed to pass, was failed at 39% and 52%. ingenie suggests that training for driving knowledge, specifically hazard perception, could be significantly improved if introduced at an earlier age.
But could you pass a modern day driving theory test? Take our quiz below and see how many of the 17 questions you get correct.
