THERE are long delays on the clockwise stretch of the M25 due to an accident which has closed a lane.
The incident has happened near junction 31 at West Thurrock, and is causing queues on the Essex stretch of the road heading towards the Dartford Crossing.
One lane of the carriageway is currently closed.
Highways England is currently reporting delays of 40 minutes against normal traffic conditions, and is expecting disruption to continue until about 2.30pm.
