GRAYS Athletic manager Jody Brown has brought in two new faces to bolster his squad ahead of the busy Christmas schedule.
Blues have signed 20-year-old defender Luis Morrison-Derbyshire from Hampton & Richmond Borough and former Southend United youngster Merrick James-Lewis.
James-Lewis, 22, is a talented midfielder, who Brown believes can push for a starting place immediately.
Brown said: “We’ve had Merrick in training and we all feel he has the ability to push to be in our eleven on any given match day.”
Brown believes Morrison-Derbyshire will also be challenging for a spot in the centre of Grays’ defence.
“He’s an ambitious youngster, with good pedigree. He’s a strong boy who’ll add physicality to our squad and impressed me when we played Hampton.”
